Medical Claims Scanning System

ClaimScape Medical Claims Scanning Overview

ClaimScape Automated Claims Scanning System

The ClaimScape Automated Claims Scanning system is the first of its kind to eliminate HCFA 1500 and UB92 medical claims data entry.  ClaimScape can scan and process up to 10,000 claims per day. Training takes minutes and does not require multiple PCs or verifier licenses. This scanning system is unique to ClaimScape and aids in immediate medical claims processing, management, and electronic health claims filing.

How Fast is It?

Over 10,000 claims/day can be scanned and processed by a single part-time scanner operator.

How Accurate is It?

Accuracy of 99.9% can be achieved with most all laser printed claims as well as those printed on 24-pin dot matrix printers. Accuracy of 97% can be achieved with claims printed on 8-pin dot matrix printers. Over 10,000 claims/day can be scanned and processed by a single part-time scanner operator.

Does the System Support More Than One Scanner at a Time?

Yes. Several scanners from remote locations can feed images into a single ClaimScape system all at the same time providing for even higher daily throughput of up to 20,000 claims.
